I wonder if there is a way to take this plugin further and allow it to change…. CSS, the static homepage, or maybe other setting.

Would be nice to have the full website experience change depending on the time of day.

because my blog template sets sidebar H2 h3, h4, h5, h6 settings to autocapitalization and size; where ever i place the time widget, the verbage is always h2 size.
it would be great if you had an edit for changing the style size and color.

Also I had it set to 8 , 12, 15 and 22 for 8am, 12 noon, 5pm and 10 pm but the widget as of 3pm showed the 10 pm message. I think it would be good if you provided a basic how to instruction to allow for better time settings and control.

Thanx Ken for your suggestion,I would make that available in future releases. It seems that you have given wrong time settings for 5PM.
15 is 3PM.Try changing it to 17.That would be 5PM.

      Your time settings are fine
      (8Am to12) shows Morning message
      (12 to 5PM) AfterNoon message
      (5PM to 10PM)Evening message
      (10PM to 8AM)Night message

Hello, I can’t get the image to work. Not sure which directory in wordpress to put it in. Is it in wp-content, wp-admin etc.?

    Glen

    • yashbinani says:

hie Glen,See you must be having a folder in which your entire wordpress files (wp-content,wp-admin) etc are present.Assuming the name of the parent folder(which has wp-content,wp-admin etc) is wordpress. Then put your images in that parent folder only.By the way i checked your website, images are working fine. You have given image of jelly.jpg in every time setting.Try giving a smaller and different image for each time setting.

      • Glen Miller says:

Hi, I have different pictures up now, but if you look at my webpage now both the evening and night pictures are up at the same time.

        Glen

  5. Glen Miller says:

Thanks, yes I figured it out just before you replied 🙂

I will change the images when I find some nice evening, night and morning ones.

    I like your plugin! Cheers,

    Glen

It doesn’t seem to work for me. The widget is not showing on the sidebar even though i dragged it there and configured it

  7. jonny says:

i like the idea of the plugin, but i would love to see some more options e.g. show the text just as text or set the fonttype/-size and so on.
would it be possible to include these features?

  8. Thanks for the awesome plugin. It’s works well for my site. Credit to you!
